UPDEPPO Expands Student Opportunities in Government Service
On August 4, 2026, University of the Philippines Diliman Extension Program in Pampanga (UPDEPPO) Director Dr. Patrick De Leon formally received the signed Memoranda of Agreement with the Land Bank of the Philippines – West San Fernando Branch, the Department of Trade and Industry – Pampanga, and the Bureau of Internal Revenue – Revenue Region 4.
Through these agreements, the three agencies will now accept UPDEPPO’s undergraduate students as on-the-job trainees and interns. These partnerships strengthen UPDEPPO’s presence in the region and help prepare students for future employment through meaningful engagement with government institutions. They also complement the planned curriculum changes that will formalize internships as an integral component of the undergraduate degree programs.
