UPCAT Caravan 2026 Day 2: Inspiring Students to Dream
The UPCAT Caravan and Review 2026, organized by UPDEPPO Pahinungód under the Affirmative Action Program, successfully concluded its second and final day last July 11, 2026 at the Porac Municipal Convention Hall.
The second day of the UPCAT Caravan was led by Dr. Rhayan G. Melendres, UPDEPPO Pahinungód Focal Person, alongside Asst. Prof. Sharon M. Manuel, a faculty of chemistry and environmental science who volunteered at the review session, giving students hands-on guidance and strengthening their preparation for the UPCAT.
The highlight of the program was the talk by Mr. Norman King, the first Ayta graduate of the University of the Philippines. His journey of perseverance and achievement inspired students to pursue their dreams despite challenges, reinforcing the message that education is a powerful tool for transformation.
Again, we extend our appreciation to Acting Mayor Jen Capil of Porac, Pampanga and Ms. Gemilyn A. Marimla of the Municipal Tourism, Arts, and Culture Office, for their continued support and partnership in hosting the UPCAT Caravan. Their assistance has been essential in making the program possible.
