Banaba Seedlings Planted at UPDEPPO Clark Campus

On July 16, 2026, the UPDEPPO Clark Campus began a simple but meaningful greening initiative with the planting of 30 banaba seedlings (Lagerstroemia speciosa). In time, the banaba trees will grow and bloom with clusters of purple flowers that will surely add natural beauty to the campus surroundings. The effort was made possible through donations from alumni who responded to the call of Director Patrick C. De Leon. More seedlings are expected to follow in the coming months.
