GRADUATE DIPLOMA in URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING

The UP School of Urban and Regional Planning and the UP Diliman Extension Program in Pampanga are pleased to announce the offering of the Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning in Clark beginning 2nd Semester, AY 2020-2021.
 
Since June 2000, the UP School of Urban and Regional Planning has been offering the graduate Diploma, Masters in Arts (MA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs following the ladder structure – courses taken in a lower degree program (e.g., Diploma) are credited in the next higher degree program (e.g., MA).
 
The graduate diploma program requires the completion of 26 units of course work – seven (7) 3-unit subjects and one (1) 5-unit subject as follows:
 
  • Theory and Practice of Planning
  • Land Use Planning
  • Planning Process
  • Research Methods in Planning
  • Project Planning and Development
  • Planning Analysis and Techniques
  • Site Planning
  • Planning Workshop
These also constitute the core subjects for the MA program.
